Hand Of Pod episode 6

Hand Of Pod episode 6

The summer break is finally over, real football is upon us once more, and Sam and the Dans are back on a roof terrace in darkest Caballito discussing the major transfer moves, the kids’ performances in the Sudamericano Sub 20, and who we think will do what during the Clausura. Our new weekly feature, Mystic Dan, has also arrived. Listen hard (or not so hard) and you’ll hear some of the neighbourhood kids screaming at their mother… and, of course, Zombie the Hand Of Pod dog. Sound quality drops a little bit for a couple of seconds at a time early on, for which apologies. This is a bumper one-hour season preview show, so enjoy it! And don’t forget, you can subscribe to the show on iTunes as well.

Don’t forget you can read plenty from the Hand Of Pod contributors on our websites: Sam runs Hasta El Gol Siempre, Aussie Dan maintains Argentina Football World and English Dan is the South America correspondent for Goal.com – here’s his preview of the 2011 Clausura.

  1. Excellent. At one point it sounds like there’s a merry-go-round in the background.

Hadn’t much to feel good about this year until that Racing fact. Starts in 2 ends in 1, good enough for me.
