The third episode of Hand Of Pod is now online! Sam, Dan and Dan are in San Telmo this week, talking about Cristian Fabbiani’s waitline, River Plate’s uselessness in front of goal, an amazing few minutes at Banfield vs Racing, and the veterans currently lighting up the league. There’s also incisive analysis of Independiente’s Copa Sudamericana final opponents, Brazilian side Goiás (since recording this episode, Goiás won the first leg of the final 2-0 in Brazil).
As ever, our wonderful theme music is composed, performed and produced by Nick Ball.
Don’t forget to subscribe to us on iTunes! Clicking ‘Continue reading’ will reveal a photograph of Cristian Fabbiani, as promised in the podcast itself.

Is that David Beck… oh it’s just Sam in the photo.
Hey guys, great podcaste, you guys must be living the dream being in futbol capital.
I have just seen on Mundoalbiceleste.com the U20 Argentina team to play in the sub 20 comp next year. Would you guys be able to an in-depth look on the squad, who are the guys to look out for, who are the surprise entries, what are the strengths of this team, who was unlucky to miss out. Living in Australia I only get to hear about players who european clubs are chasing like Erik Lamela, Juan manual irtube, mauro diaz. Would love to get more facts on the players and how do feel we will perform next year.
Hi Pronx,
Thanks for the suggestion – we’ll be discussing the list in this week’s podcast, which will be recorded this evening and be online by Tuesday evening.
This Nick Ball dude is groovin’ to the proverbial groove.
